    An unearthly howl echoes across the woods, and betwixt the branches of countless trees a pale full moon can be seen.    There are a pair, ahead, flitting through the woods, quiet and paced. They pause for breath and exchange a nod between them. One is a red haired, blue eyed woman, the other a raven haired, silver eyed man, and both are clad in black, blending into the shadows.    Leaves crunch to the front of them, and they tense, hands on weapons. They move as one, practice evident in their strides. The woman flashes out with a dagger, there is a responding snarl cut short before a lupine like body falls to the ground before them. S

                When I found her it had already been a hell of day.                The morning drink at the inn had done nothing to soften my mood, and when the Explorer's Guild had handed me the job of checking out 'Leviathan Lake'  I just knew what kind of day it was going to be.    There had been a leviathan in the lake, of course.
